Fresh Apple Cider

We are pressing cider tomorrow, May 3,  we will have fresh apple cider thru May 19th. 

     Fresh Veggies.... It is almost that time of year!   

We presently have a great selection of beef.  Wonderful cuts of steak, for grilling, roasts and hamburger.

Eggs.  Jumbo, X-Large and Large fresh eggs.  Our free range, happy chickens are laying over 200 eggs a day. 

**Wine**

Bottling update. 

We will have very limited supplies of Damson Wine, Blueberry Wine, Raspberry and Blackberry Wine.  Last summer's tornado and hurricane wiped out a portion to all the crop on these varieties.  We have lost all but one of our Damson plum trees, so future Damson is in jeopardy.

Bottling for the Damson, Blueberry and Strawberry Rhubarb, is scheduled for the week of May 18th.  We are expecting only about 12 cases each of Blueberry and Damson.

 We will start having fresh tomatoes, in May, around May 15th and our lettuce should be available around May 5 with Cucumbers and Zucchini squash to quickly follow.

Our fruit trees are a full two weeks early and we expect our Strawberry picking to begin around June 5th.

Last year Strawberry picking began on  June 11, 2011 and continued only through July 1st.  Hindered by the excess size and volume of Hail that the June tornadoes created, strawberry picking was both light and short.  Summer Raspberries and early Blueberries started Saturday July 2nd.  Blueberries picking was cut short do to the hurricane as well as reduce quantities of  Raspberries. 

In August 2010, the state of Massachusetts saw a monumental change in how farm wineries market their wine.  Governor Patrick signed a bill into law that grants farm wineries, like us, the right to sell wine at farmer markets and agricultural events, such as fairs.  We sold our wine this past winter on Saturday's at the Wayland Farmers Market at Russell's Garden Center on Route 20. 

This summer we will be in Burlington, on Monday, Lexington on Tuesday, Wayland on Wednesday and Wakefield on Saturday.
