We encourage you to have a corporate events, birthday party, wedding, or other special event with us.  We have a expandable area, including 2300 sq ft function tent with covered stage that is available for special events.   For pricing, availability, and menus, for your function or special event, please call 508-248-7820, or email us at nate@charltonorchard.com.  Please place the word "event" in subject line.

Our farm is also available for school or organization tours.  Each tour receives a dedicated tour guide that explains how we run our farm.  The tours are offered May through December of each year.  As an added treat you may add Our Tractor and Trailer, with your package for a ride around the orchard.

In June 2005, we installed our Festival Tent.  This tent is also being used for many corporate and national organization functions.   Folks continue to comment about how much fun our festivals are.  So remember.... Rain or Shine our Shows must go on.

Wine Tasting and Farm Tour, May 20, 2012

Join us in our Wine Specialty Store at Obadiah McIntyre Farm Winery.  Come meet our winemaker and the gang.  Our walking tour begins at 2:00 pm  followed by wine tasting and conclude at 4:00pm.  We will taste various handcrafted fruit and grape wines.  A tours of the winery is included.  A 10% wine purchase discount on any 6 bottles or more, will be available for this event and for being our guest, take home a free souvenir wine glass.   Must be 21 years of age to attend.

Event hours 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  $ 10.00 admission. Tour begins @ 2:00 pm.

Wine Tasting,  Farm Tour, and Cookout,  June 24, 2012

Join us in our Wine Specialty Store at Obadiah McIntyre Farm Winery.  Come meet our winemaker and the gang.  Meet us under our facility tent for some hamburger and hotdogs, and all the fixings, at 12:30 pm.  Around 1:30 pm we will the set out on our walking farm tour., and upon returning we will venture into the winery for a cellar tour.  Taste our various handcrafted fruit and grape wines.  A 10% case discount will be available for our Hard Ciders in 660 ml bottles or any 6 bottles of our wine, for this event and for being our guest, take home a free souvenir wine glass.   Must be 21 years of age to attend.  Strawberry Picking will still be available, for additional charges.

Red Wine and Steak Grill

Sirloin Steak Dinner Night (featuring our own premium pasture raised beef)
August 11th, 2012. 

Join us at Charlton Orchards and Obadiah McIntyre Farm Winery for our Annual Steak and Wine Dinner.  We think you will really enjoy this event. The evening begins at 5:30 pm with wine and hors d’oeuvres, at 6:00 pm, we will bring out  the steaks.   We will provide all the side dishes and the housekeeping.  Barbeques are a great place to unwind and visit with friends.  Enjoy our red wines, or any of our white wines.  After dinner, as you relax, we will be serving our delicious desert wines, with our equally delicious pies.  The cost for this event is $38.00 per person.  We want everyone to enjoy themselves, so we will also offer a special discounted  deal for the designated driver in your party.  Call us  for more details.  As a special thanks to you for being our guest, take home a free souvenir wine glass.   Must be 21 years of age  to consume our wine.  This event is open to all ages.  Non drinkers and children prices.  Non-Wine Steak dinner is $20.00 per person.  Kids meal, $9.95, for 11 years and younger, we substitute hamburger for steak.

Fun for All Ages

Our only Bluegrass Event for 2012

Join us for our biggest and best festival of the season.  This year  we have a special Bluegrass Treat.  Join friends and family  as we    celebrate our farm’s bountiful harvest and the anniversary of our  winery.  The grills will be hot, and the food great.  The live Bluegrass and Country Music starts at 1:00pm  and continues until around  5:00pm.  Our wine bar will be open in our festival area and wine tasting will be available in the Wine Store.  Join us for apple picking, ride our tractor and trailer through the farm, tons of food and fresh country air.  The orchard will be open for pick-your-own apples.  Fun for all age

Just before that Thanksgiving feast, join us in our Wine Specialty Store at Obadiah McIntyre Farm Winery.  Come meet our winemaker and the gang.  Tasting will begin at 2:00pm and conclude at 4:00pm.   We will taste various handcrafted fruit and grape wines.  As a very special treat, we will taste our four Sparkling Specialty Wines, Holiday Crimson (sparkling raspberry) and Frost Berry (sparkling strawberry), Jubilation, and Carbonated Apple Wine, available for the holiday season. A Tour of the winery will also be available.  A 10% wine purchase discount on our Sparkling Wines will be available for this event, and for being our guest, take home a free  souvenir wine glass.   Must be  21 years of age to attend.
